ParexGroup values people above all else.

Our commitments to social responsibility are a reflection of how our corporate culture is both deeply humanistic and global and local at the same time.

It can be resumed through two major commitments:

  • Act for and with our employees,
  • Anchor our sites in their territory.

People and the way they're considered is our first concern in all the projects we undertake. We know our people are the key to our success, so we do all we can to enrich the professional life of our employees.

Our interest in people is most clearly seen, however, in our commitment to safety.

A safe and healthy work environment is fundamental to our approach to business. With a constant monitoring and reporting system in place, we continually look for new ways to improve safety.

We contribute to the development of local economies by encouraging access to training with the construction industry. We also enter into partnerships with schools, and invest heavily in improving the working experience of our employees.

Safety day

Once a year we host a Global Safety Day where health and safety issues and solutions are discussed amongst employees from around the world.

It's a day dedicated to discussing and exploring all relevant safety issues that come up in our industry. One of the objectives is to increase awareness through practical activities like forklift driving simulations, crash tests and examinations of storage and cleanliness issues. Every year a theme is chosen by the group and is introduced through a film or a presentation on a particular country's experience. Each country then explores that safety theme in its own way.

Aiding communities

ParexGroup is deeply involved in aiding communities in different countries where it operates.

ParexGroup has been very active in many grass roots ways, right across the globe in a wide range of communities. For instance, we've recently made energy-efficient home building materials available for underprivileged families in some regions of the USA. We've also been actively recruiting personnel directly from the regions we're present in Chile, and offering training for high school and college students who lack the skills, but are interested in working with us.
